    The “Mom” behind Doodle Mom, Emily leads the company’s growth, client relationships, and overall strategy. She brings a decade of experience in political tech and nonprofit sales, with a track record of building pipeline, closing high-value deals, and scaling revenue across complex organizations.

    Before founding Doodle Mom Strategies, Emily held senior sales leadership roles where she worked directly with campaigns, advocacy groups, and agencies to drive adoption of data and organizing tools. She understands how budgets move, how decisions get made, and what it takes to win in this space.

    As the face of the business and lead strategist for key clients, Emily works hands-on to shape positioning, guide deal strategy, and move opportunities from first conversation to close. She leads the team as a true extension of her clients’ organizations, focused on one thing: driving real, measurable growth.

    With over a decade of experience in sales leadership and revenue growth, James has built and led high-performing teams across the political, nonprofit, and SaaS landscape. He has held senior roles at organizations like EveryAction and Bonterra, where he managed enterprise accounts, scaled account management teams, and drove expansion across complex client portfolios.

    James brings deep expertise in the full revenue lifecycle, from pipeline development to retention and upsell. He understands how to structure teams, prioritize opportunities, and build systems that turn relationships into long-term revenue.

He works closely with teams to strengthen sales processes, improve deal execution, and ensure that opportunities don’t stall out. His approach is practical, hands-on, and focused on results that show up in the pipeline.

  • Ashley Chase : Partner + COO

    With a background in enterprise sales across leading political and nonprofit tech platforms, Ashley brings deep expertise in building pipeline, managing complex deals, and driving revenue growth. She has held senior leadership roles at NGP VAN, Bonterra, and EveryAction, where she led high-performing teams and worked closely with mission-driven organizations to scale their impact. Prior to joining the tech space, Ashley worked in North Carolina as an organizer. Working on both public transportation and LGBTQ advocacy campaigns.

She brings a sharp understanding of the political tech landscape and a practical, results-focused approach to growth.

    Will is a 20-year veteran of progressive digital advocacy, including co-founding and leading Clarify Agency, advising high-profile clients at Trilogy Interactive, and running digital rumor pushback on Obama-Biden '08. He also enjoys coaching youth baseball and telling dad jokes

    With more than 15 years of experience in SaaS sales and revenue growth, Kenny has built a career helping organizations accelerate pipeline, close complex deals, and drive long-term customer success. His experience spans roles from Account Executive to Vice President of Sales, giving him a unique perspective on every stage of the revenue lifecycle from prospecting and enterprise sales to account management, retention, and strategic growth.


    At Doodle Mom Strategies, Kenny focuses on helping clients build predictable revenue by strengthening sales execution, refining messaging, and creating scalable processes that convert opportunities into lasting partnerships. Whether working with startups or established organizations, he brings a practical, energetic style that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. His goal is simple: help clients grow with confidence while making every interaction meaningful and leaving every meeting with a smile.

  • Joe Caprara: Fractional CTO

    Building great technology takes more than great engineers. It takes technical leadership that knows how to move quickly, make smart product decisions, and build systems that scale.

    Joe Caprara brings more than 20 years of product and engineering leadership to Doodle Mom Strategies. After beginning his career at Accenture and Qualcomm, he went on to found, scale, and successfully exit multiple technology companies. As a CTO, he has led engineering organizations from startup through growth, helped guide two successful exits, scaled another company from $8 million to $30 million in revenue, and built engineering teams of more than 50 people.

    Today, Joe partners with founders, agencies, technology companies, advocacy organizations, and growing businesses that need experienced technical leadership without the cost or commitment of a full-time executive. Whether launching a new product, modernizing an existing platform, evaluating technical investments, or helping teams use AI more effectively, Joe focuses on practical solutions that create business results.

    Conrad is a dynamic business development professional with experience across startups, marketing, fin-tech and client engagement. Influenced by parents who worked in humanitarian aid and a spouse deeply involved in children’s rights and media advocacy, Conrad brings a strong values-driven approach to building partnerships. He believes that ethical leadership and purposeful connection are key to driving real impact. At Doodle Mom, he’s excited to help mission-led organizations grow with intention.

  • Melanie Nkwana: Business Development Director

    Mel is a sales and account management professional with experience in delivering solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. She has successfully worked with diverse clients across industries, guiding them through complex sales cycles and ensuring long-term value. In addition to her sales expertise, Melanie has experience in account management through freelance projects, where she has supported client retention, engagement, and growth. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that drive measurable business impact.

  • Maggie Atherton: Research Analyst

    Maggie is a purpose-driven advocate and MPA candidate at American University with hands-on experience in issue advocacy, project management, and community organizing. Motivated by a deep commitment to reproductive rights following the collapse of Roe v. Wade, she has dedicated her career to electing pro-reproductive rights candidates and advocating for reproductive health legislation. She has founded and led campus organizations, designed and facilitated community events, and developed strategic communications plans. Her background spans nonprofit advocacy, local government, and higher education. Maggie brings sharp research, communication, and organizational skills to help the team translate strategy into real, measurable impact.

  • Bobby Braun: Community & Business Development Advisor

    Bobby brings over a decade of sales management and coaching to the team. Joining Doodle Mom from the residential solar industry, he was inspired to help elect Democratic candidates after witnessing firsthand how Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” prioritized tax cuts for the ultra wealthy over renewable energy incentives.

    Bobby supports Doodle Mom Strategies on strategy and business development, from high level decisions to representing the firm at industry conferences and events. He brings an outside perspective and a growing network to the table, helping the firm build relationships that turn into new partnerships and opportunities.
